South Bank - Shoal VillasShaped by the undulating ironshore

As part of our work on the 32-acre South Bank development, which includes 19 Ocean Villas, 19 Lagoon Villas, and 12 condominiums, the Shoal Villas are a collection of 12 homes situated on the rugged 'ironshore' coast. The Shoal Villas are shaped by the site’s natural elements: the powerful onshore winds, the karst limestone terrain, and the ocean just steps away. 

The angled-pitch forms read as organic outcrops of rock against the undulating coastline, as if they have always been there. Clusters of rooms pinwheel around a central courtyard that functions as an outdoor room. The undulating plan creates pockets of outdoor space that are protected from the natural elements without severing the connection to the sea.
