As part of our work on the 32-acre South Bank development, which includes 19 Ocean Villas, 19 Lagoon Villas, and 12 condominiums, the Boathouses are a collection of 38 homes that form micro-communities within the resort.

The Boathouses, clustered in banks, foster a village-like atmosphere organized around a shared park and pool. Small ‘pocket parks’ are inserted between the banks of terraces, all with access to the ocean. Each bank contains no more than ten properties, preserving framed views within every property without sacrificing the community spirit.

Each Boathouse follows a set of overarching architectural rules; within these guidelines, owners select from options that reflect individual preferences while maintaining a cohesive set of buildings. Recesses in the facades create an interplay of light and shade, and timber adds material variety and warmth. The rear elevations cascade towards the water’s edge, where terraces enjoy long views across to the ocean.
